About Dottie Foods

Walt is a certified chef with 50+ years of food & hospitality experience. He is also a food developer as well as a producer for private-label food companies. He utilizes his global career experiences to bring to market healthy, nutritious & flavor-filled soups. Chef Walt’s experience includes 10 years in the healthcare arena, where he was inspired to develop GEN ll Roux.

Managing Partner of Dottie Foods LLC, Stephen has extensive experience with national Food and Beverage brands in the hospitality industry for over five decades.

Chef Walt Hawley and Chef Stephen have collaborated as chefs, educators, and now as entrepreneurs. His experience as a chef in restaurants, hotels, resorts, hospitals, and culinary education brings innovation to his understanding of how one-step foods can impact food and labor costs while still maintaining very high-quality standards.

The chef in the white chef jacket is Dottie. She is Walt’s Mom, and she is instrumental in his culinary passions and food off-the-farm approach. As we build out the site, Dottie will host you through a variety of pointers embedded in our site.
